- Give an Elevator Pitch (in 30 seconds or less) that demonstrates your “idea worth spreading”? I.e. What’s your story?
- Small groups discuss: did the elevator pitch demonstrate the main idea?

Part 1: Your Visual Presentation
- All graphics must be Creative Commons, Fair Use, Remixed, or self-created
- Graphics that you Design should have (Designed by Name)
- All graphics that do not fit the above criteria must have Photo Credit (Photo Credit: Bloomberg)
- What might you want to add on a Slide?
- Fill the slides with single high quality images (to collage or not to collage?)
- Text (1-5 words max)
- Video content created by someone else, should be avoided. If you created the video, then we can decide with your advisor.
- Examples from student slides
- ALL TEXT FROM YOUR TALK SHOULD BE ADDED TO THE GOOGLE SLIDES SPEAKER NOTES UNDER THE CORRECT IMAGE!!!

- Write your bio and share it HERE -- (here are last year’s to help guide you) -- Due by March 11
- Work with your divisional advisor to review and revise slides based on peer and advisor feedback keeping in mind ideas presented in Part 1 and Part 2. Make sure to add your script below each associated image in the Speaker Notes
- If not already (HS), add link to Google Slides (with Speaker Notes) onto TEDx Presenters 2017-108 spreadsheet - Due March 14

- Slides - Fill the slides with single high quality images (no collages), little text (1-5 words max), don’t look at slides while presenting
- What is your “dog”? Storytelling with Props

- Brainstorm what you See, Think and Wonder while watching the video
- What are the presentation skills needed in a TED Talk?
Part 3: Break into mixed-divisional groups to discuss your notes about presentation skills and then try them out!
